Switzerland wanted us – and Switzerland is getting us! We have opened a new branch office near Zurich. From there, we’ll be able to meet your professional IT infrastructure needs quicker than ever.

These values have already driven our impressive growth in Germany in the past few years. Now we’re striving for more. But our CEO Alexander Jauns isn’t aiming for immediate world domination – a bunch of happy Swiss clients will be enough to satisfy him for now.
Bringing our tried and tested services to Switzerland
As you might know, we’ve already been serving some of our clients from across the border in Germany for quite a while. That’s over now. Since the end of 2023, we’ve been on-location in Switzerland and now, in 2024, it’s time for us to really get things moving! Our branch office in Regensdorf, near Zurich, has brought us closer to you than ever, so we can really be there for you when you need us.
That’s good for you in more than one way. In future, we’ll not only be able to reach you more quickly – we’ll also know the local market better, and we’ll be able to supply you even more efficiently with all the IT equipment and services that you need for your day-to-day work. (Except coffee – you’ll still need to get that somewhere else!)
What’s the motivation behind this move to Switzerland? “Because we see change as an opportunity”, our CEO emphasizes. Expansion is also a type of change. And that’s why we want to take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself – even if it demands a lot of us.
Some of our trusted partners, like Juniper Networks, have encouraged us to enter the Swiss market. In addition, our status as Juniper Elite Partner is coming with us to Switzerland!
Years of experience in the Swiss market
Christian, our Director Engineering & Services, is a seasoned professional who spent 15 years living in Switzerland. He will be in charge of planning and establishing business operations there. “Christian will help us to better understand the Swiss market – which will help us make fewer mistakes,” explains Alex.
Christian wants to offer existing and future Swiss clients exactly the same proven services that have led to HCD Consulting GmbH’s success in Germany. “We consult with clients in all phases of implementation, from pre-sale to post-sale to daily operations and more,” he explains.
Of course, in addition to good customers, we’re also hoping for plenty of revenue in Switzerland. At the end of the day, it’s “about the money and the business” (actual quote from our boss). But one thing is especially important to him: “You can do business honestly too!”

Future plans for Switzerland and beyond
Alex and Christian plan to expand the already power-packed Swiss team. They are looking for additional sales representatives, as well as engineering specialists who can handle projects in Switzerland without first needing to travel from Germany. Alex is already thinking about the next step. He wants HCD Consulting to broaden its geographical base even more in the coming years. After the move to Switzerland, he’s planning an additional expansion to Austria.
